Nos últimos 10 anos, o campo da inteligência artificial (IA) avançou de forma considerável, transformando muitos aspectos de nossas vidas. A IA passou de um conceito promissor, discutindo nas rodas de alta cúpula da área de tecnologia para uma realidade do nosso dia-a-dia, moldando setores como os da saúde, finanças, manufatura, entretenimento e, talvez mais alarmantemente, a educação. Abaixo poderemos ver e explorar esse progresso para enxergar como ela pode ser útil para educadores.

Inteligências artificiais livres para o público podem ser achadas a “torto e direita” em pleno 2023, talvez a mais comum e popular entre elas é o Chat-GPT no qual você insere um Prompt (Proposta ou Sugestão) que consiste de um texto descritivo no qual pede para que a IA desenvolva algum resultado escrito na tela do site. Com isso posso pedir desde uma recomendação de restaurante de comida mexicana na cidade onde moro até uma listagem e casos de sucesso de Influencers (Influenciadores Digitais das Redes Sociais) listados em tabela com o nome da pessoa, razão pela qual fez sucesso e o nicho no qual este é famoso, abrangente não?

Agora uma coisa importante de saber é que as IA’s estão em um estágio inicial então elas são como crianças, ou tipo crianças-robôs com quase todo o conhecimento disponível na internet a seu dispor. Então ao invés delas ficarem perguntando sobre tudo, elas respondem, mas sua pergunta precisa ser precisa, detalhada e consistente, por exemplo:

• Quais são as chances do “Vascão” ser eliminado no próximo jogo?

Este é o tipo de pergunta que não vai te levar a lugar algum, a IA’s não pode e não irá prever nenhum acontecimento futuro, mas ela pode lhe fornecer dados específicos sobre o que já há registrado, por exemplo:

• Com os seguintes dados [Informações que você mesmo digitou]. E baseado em quem teve mais vitórias no passado, quais são as chances do Vasco da Gama ser eliminado?

Com isso a IA irá demonstrar visualmente o placar e elencar aquele resultado mais provável por estatística de ocorrer, mesmo que com ressalvas. E, por último, lembre-se que é você que irá dar as instruções logo tem que especificar o que quer, como quer e como deve ser o resultado pois não fazer isso é a mesma coisa que mandar um criança dobrar roupa nunca ela nem tendo visto uma roupa dobrada na vida, então:

1. Defina a função se quer uma resposta como vinda de alguém específico, exemplo:
   Você é um jornalista, sendo assim como perguntaria sobre [exemplo] para um jogador de futebol em uma entrevista?
2. Defina um objetivo para aquilo que pede, dando um foco a tarefa que este deva fazer, exemplo:
   Escreva uma receita de strogonoff mas substitua creme de leite por algum equivalente sem lactose.
3. Defina uma regra que o resultado gerado pela IA não pode violar, exemplo:
   Liste para mim os livros mais utilizados em pesquisas sobre macroeconomia no formato de referência ABNT apenas.
4. Defina o formato no qual o resultado do prompt deva ser realizado, exemplo:
   Como é possível explicar a expressão “Silver Lines”, do inglês através de uma analogia ou gíria comum do português brasileiro?

Os educadores em geral ficaram um tanto perdidos com a chegada das IA’s mas isso não quer dizer que ainda devem continuar assim, já que existem formas com as quais lidar com isso assim como foi feito com o surgimento da internet!

Pode parecer estranho para um estudante lendo isso mas os professores muitas vezes tem que adaptar o conhecimento que possuem e pretendem passar a diante por meio de “Colas”, aquelas mesmas que os próprios professores criticam quando o aluno faz na prova, mas isso se dá pois para ajudar o estudante a criar a ponte para o conhecimento estudado em aulas é necessário trazer para o contexto daquele que está aprendendo, utilizando do seu dia-a-dia, daquilo que este gosta ou já entende mas que muitas vezes é algo desconhecido para o professor, e aí entra a famosa “Colinha”.

Agora com as IA’s ao seu dispor isso ficou mais fácil do que nunca, personalizar o aprendizado está nas palmas da mão, ou nas teclas do dedo melhor dizendo, misturando o conteúdo que se quer passar adiante com aquilo já familiar do estudante pedindo exemplos, sínteses e até explicações daquilo próximo ao estudante e mesclando o mesmo com o conteúdo que será abordado.

Mas vamos ver como é possível fazer isso em diferentes dessas plataformas disponíveis virtualmente!

1. CHATGPT: Precisa saber mais sobre um conteúdo e ainda formata-lo em lista, tabela ou até organizá-lo entre períodos de tempo equivalentes? Basta logar na plataforma e enviar uma mensagem detalhando bem o que você gostaria de saber sobre (É importante notar que o CHATGPT funciona com um banco de dados, portanto, não possui acesso a sites e informações ao vivo e sim aquelas já lhe informadas previamente)
2. PICTORY: Precisa criar um vídeo para um aluno ou turma? Esta plataforma permite que você gere roteiros ao redor de temas e depois a partir das palavras-chave identificadas cria animações e adiciona imagens em movimento de forma suave e autônoma.
3. VIDEODUBBER: Trabalha com uma língua pouco conhecida? Que tal ter uma versão dublada e traduzidas deste para usar como material? Com esta IA é possível fazer justamente isso!
4. QUILLBOT: Sem tempo para revisar ou reformular textos? O quillbot faz isso de forma inteligente para você com poucos cliques.
5. OTTER.AI: Para que anotações e resumos, ou até as tão conhecidas atas, de reuniões, aulas e demais encontros virtuais basta utilizar essa plataforma que ela gera tudo para você sem muito esforço.
6. IMAGICA: Automatizar tarefas online nunca foi tão fácil uma IA que realmente funciona como uma assistente virtual.
7. ROWS A.I: Se é necessário analisar dados mas Excel ou não é ser forte ou está difícil de colocar a fórmula certa esta plataforma lhe permite analisar informações com muito mais facilidade.
8. ELEVEN LABS: Okay, já foi falado acima de automatizar tarefas mas isso não funciona para aquele querido que só vê mensagem quando é áudio, então que tal criar uma cópia da sua voz digital e criar várias respostas faladas usando apenas seu teclado? Nesta IA você encontra a resposta.
9. CLIPDROP: Precisa de uma imagem específica que não achou na internet? Que tal fazê-la? Muito difícil no Photoshop né? Então use essa IA para transformar rabisco em imagens espetaculares ou aumente o escopo de fotos à vontade.
10. DREAM STUDIO: Se o que você precisa é específico demais para rabiscar e em algum estilo visual então esta plataforma será ainda melhor que o Clipdrop para sua necessidade!

PS: Sempre que for utilizar uma IA que precisa de um Prompt não esqueça de pedir “Por favor” ou “Por gentileza” antes do pedido escrito, não serve para muito mas quando as máquinas se rebelarem quem sabe isso não te salva né!

How to use AI for your advance?

Over the past 10 years, the field of artificial intelligence (AI) has advanced considerably, transforming many aspects of our lives. AI has evolved from a promising concept discussed in high-tech circles to a part of our daily reality, shaping sectors such as health, finance, manufacturing, entertainment, and, perhaps most notably, education. Below, we can see and explore this progress to understand how it can be useful for educators.

1. And how this works?

Artificial intelligences freely available to the public can be found “here and there” in 2023. Perhaps the most common and popular among them is Chat-GPT, where you input a prompt consisting of a descriptive text asking the AI to generate a written result on the screen of the site. With this, I can request anything from a recommendation for a Mexican restaurant in my city to a list and success stories of influencers listed in a table with the person’s name, the reason for their success, and the niche they are famous in, extensive, right?

Now, an important thing to know is that AI’s are in an early stage, so they are like children, or like child-robots with almost all the knowledge available on the internet at their disposal. So instead of them asking about everything, they respond, but your question needs to be precise, detailed, and consistent, for example:

• What are the chances of Vasco da Gama being eliminated in the next game?

This is the kind of question that won’t get you anywhere; AI’s cannot and will not predict any future events, but they can provide you with specific data about what is already recorded, for example:

• With the following data [Information you entered]. Based on who had more wins in the past, what are the chances of Vasco da Gama being eliminated?

With this, the AI will visually display the score and list the most likely result based on statistics to occur, even with caveats. And lastly, remember that you will give the instructions, so you have to specify what you want, how you want it, and how the result should be because not doing so is the same as telling a child to fold clothes when they have never seen folded clothes in their life, so:

1. Define the function if you want a response as if it’s coming from a specific person, for example: “You’re a journalist, so how would you ask a football player about [example] in an interview?”
2. Set a goal for what you are asking for, giving a focus to the task it should do, for example: “Write a stroganoff recipe, but replace sour cream with a lactose-free alternative.”
3. Set a rule that the result generated by the AI cannot be violated, for example: “List the most used books in macroeconomics research in ABNT reference format only.”.
4. Define the format in which the prompt result should be done, for example: “How can you explain the expression ‘Silver Lines’ in English through a common analogy or slang from Brazilian Portuguese?”

 2. But how can I use them in Education?

Educators in general were a bit lost with the arrival of AI’s, but that doesn’t mean they should continue that way since there are ways to deal with it just like what was done with the emergence of the internet!

It may seem strange to a student reading this, but teachers often have to adapt the knowledge they have and intend to pass on through “Cheat Sheets,” the same ones that teachers themselves criticize when students use them in exams. However, this is done to help students create a bridge to the knowledge studied in classes, bringing it into the context of the learner, using their daily life, what they like or already understand, but which is often unknown to the teacher, and that’s where the famous “Cheat Sheet” comes in.

Now, with AI’s at your disposal, it’s easier than ever to personalize learning. Customizing learning is in the palm of your hand, or rather, in your fingertip keystrokes, mixing the content you want to convey with what’s already familiar to the student, asking for examples, summaries, and even explanations of what’s close to the student and mixing it with the content to be covered.

But let’s see how it’s possible to do this on different virtual platforms!

1. CHATGPT: Need to know more about a topic and even format it into a list, table, or organize it into equivalent time periods? Just log into the platform and send a message, detailing what you would like to know (It’s important to note that CHATGPT operates with a database, so it doesn’t have access to live websites and information, only what has been previously informed to it).
2. PICTORY: Need to create a video for a student or class? This platform allows you to generate scripts around themes and then, from the identified keywords, creates animations and adds moving images smoothly and autonomously.
3. VIDEODUBBER: Working with a lesser-known language? How about having a dubbed and translated version to use as material? With this AI, you can do just that!
4. QUILLBOT: Short on time to review or rephrase texts? Quillbot does it intelligently for you with just a few clicks.
5. OTTER.AI: For notes and summaries, or even the well-known minutes, of meetings, classes, and other virtual meetings, just use this platform and it generates everything for you with little effort.
6. IMAGICA: Automating tasks online has never been so easy, an AI that really works as a virtual assistant.
7. ROWS A.I: If you need to analyze data, but Excel isn’t your strong suit or it’s difficult to get the right formula, this platform allows you to analyze information much more easily.
8. ELEVEN LABS: Okay, it’s already mentioned above about automating tasks, but it doesn’t work for that dear one who only listens to messages when it’s audio, so how about creating a copy of your digital voice and creating several spoken responses using just your keyboard? In this AI, you’ll find the answer.
9. CLIPDROP: Need a specific image that you couldn’t find on the internet? How about creating it? Very difficult in Photoshop, right? So use this AI to turn scribbles into spectacular images or expand the scope of photos as you like.
10. DREAM STUDIO: If what you need is too specific to scribble and in some visual style, then this platform will be even better than Clipdrop for your needs!

PS: Whenever you’re going to use an AI that needs a prompt, don’t forget to say “Please” or “Kindly” before the written request. It might not do much, but when the machines revolt, who knows, maybe it’ll save you!
